Absolutely loved my stay at Casa Malayah in Puerto Escondido! This gem of a guest house is just a block away from the beach – talk about prime location! The vibes are laid-back, and it's super easy to wander over to La Punta or take a leisurely stroll to Zicatela. Seriously, if you're looking for that chill beachside getaway with all the local hotspots within reach, this is your spot. Can't recommend it enough – Casa Malayah is the place to be!

Siempre que paso a Puerto voy a casa Malayah, todo es perfecto! El lugar es tranquilo, los espacios limpios y tienen buenos colchones Yesmin, la dueña, es super buena onda y siempre lo hace todo para que sus huéspedes la pasen bien (varias veces nos ayudó a conseguir lo que buscábamos, de comer, de actividades y siempre siendo lo mas local posible) Gracias por la buena vibra y mucho éxito pa Casa Malayah!

5 mins from la Punta, 20 secs from the beach, at the heart of a truly vibrant “Puerto Escondidian” community, this house is the happiest place I’ve stayed at during my travels in Mexico. I’ve been welcomed by the kindest people, Rocio and Charlie, who shared with me their passion (and tips ) for the city and made me feel welcomed every second of my stay. I also was greeted by 3 adorable cats and 1 Conejo. They will all jump to cuddle you and say hello when you’re visiting the garden. I’ve not only found the most welcoming and best located place to stay in Puerto, but a place to call home when I was there. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Conejo, although I’m afraid for it to be fully booked the next time I want to come back to “ma maison du bonheur”.
